Manchester United will not pay over the odds for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Daily Star says the Serbia international has been touted to join United this summer after several months of scouting the star.

The 23-year-old has enjoyed a brilliant year with Lazio and a number of clubs, including United, are interested.

It has led to the Stadio Olimpico outfit slapping a whopping £87.5m price-tag on the midfielder.

Jose Mourinho is especially keen on adding more of a physical presence to the centre of the pitch with Marouane Fellaini looking extremely likely to leave at the end of the month.

The Belgian has yet to extend his contract, which expires this summer, despite the Portuguese manager revealing talks were close.
