Angel Di Maria is eyeing a Champions League final berth with Paris Saint-Germain.
Argentine international Di Maria has found a new lease of life at PSG following his move from Manchester United over the summer and the winger was key once again in helping the French champions claim a 2-0 victory over Malmo in their Champions League opener on Tuesday night.
Following the game, Di Maria was left pleased with the start PSG have made to their Champions League campaign and has now stated his ambition of guiding his side to the final of the competition following frustrating exits in the Quarter Finals over the last three years.
"We have to take each step at a time. PSG are in a great momentum," Di Maria, who scored a sublime opener at Parc des Princes, told reporters.
"They reached [the] late stages of the competition in previous years so the goal will be surpassing the quarter-finals and playing the final. We have to keep working, step by step, and hopefully things will work out."
