Manchester United are baulking at Sporting Lisbon's asking price for Miguel Veloso.
The Sunday Mirror says United have been offered first refusal on midfielder Veloso, thanks to the close relationship between the clubs. But the £25m they were quoted is deemed too rich for the Reds.
