Manchester United face being without Rio Ferdinand for three weeks.
Ferdinand, who will miss this weekend's Manchester derby, was hurt in the warm-up before United's 2-1 defeat at Wolves last Saturday.
Despite intensive treatment by United's medical staff, the date they have given for Ferdinand's likely return is the Premier League trip to Wigan on February 26, says the Mirror.
As well as the big clash with City, that would see Ferdinand miss the FA Cup tie with non-league Crawley Town - a game he was always likely to sit out - and the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie away to Marseille.
