Man Utd favourites for want-away Bayern Munich star Schweinsteiger
Manchester United are ready to pounce for unsettled Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger.
The People says United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a big admirer of the midfielder who starred at last summer’s World Cup in South Africa and who has 18 months left to run on his contract.
United, Real Madrid and Inter Milan have all been linked with the German.
And Van Gaal has practically put his player up for sale by suggesting Bayern should cash in on the 26-year-old who has spent his entire career at the club.
The Dutch coach said: “I think that Bayern Munich is a business and if it is true that £25million has been offered for him, then you cannot just ignore that kind of money.”

I agree that he will definately be the ideal replacement for scholesy and wouldn't mind betting he does comes to united in the summer (or january if we sell carrick, gibson and ando) as he is a united fan himself and so is his brother... :)
We all kno that he s going to madrid,thats his dream especially since the special one s ther,bayern wont sell 4 £25m,he s worth around £35m which draw united wont pay
Fergie, this guy is a must have! U can offload all our midfielders except Scholes & Fletcher for Bastian. We missed out on Van Der Vart & Ozil, we shouldn't miss out on dis. Glory Glory Man United!
