Manchester United fans will remove 'The Chosen One' banner at Old Trafford after this morning's sacking of David Moyes.
The Telegraph says it will be removed at Old Trafford before United's home fixture with Norwich this weekend.
Having been hand-picked by Sir Alex Ferguson to replace him at United, a group of 400 supporters raised funds for the banner to be produced and draped across the middle tier of the Stretford End last summer.
It is claimed, however, that Stretford End Flags are now considering donating it to the National Football Museum in Manchester. Earlier this season, fans tried to remain the banner following the derby defeat to Manchester City.
