Juan Mata has been voted Manchester United's Player of the Month by the club's fans ahead of Anthony Martial.

Mata has been in fine form so far this season and he enjoyed a productive month in September, scoring against the likes of Southampton, Sunderland and Wolfsburg.

As recognition for his fine performances, the Spanish playmaker has been voted United's Player of the Month by the club's faithful on the Red Devils' official website.

Mata earned 44 percent of the votes while coming in a close second with 42 percent was young striker Martial.
