One Manchester United fan claims he forced Liverpool to change their social media bio.

The Manchester Evening News says United's Merseyside rivals have prided themselves for years on the fact they are the most successful club in the country.

Liverpool are so proud of the fact they had a line on their Twitter page that said "England's most successful club with 41 major honours."

But United beat Southampton in the EFL Cup final to become the most successful club in England with 42 major honours.

Earlier in the week, one United fan tweeted that Liverpool would have to change it come Sunday night if Jose Mourinho's side won.

The tweet had nearly 3,000 retweets and just a few hours later Liverpool did change their bio, deleting the part where they said they were most successful!

It's not clear why they decided to change it at that moment but this fan clearly thinks it was down to them.
