Manchester United face renewed competition to sign Southampton winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Daily Mail says Tottenham have stepped up their interest in Oxlade-Chamberlain, with coach Tim Sherwood making a personal check on the teenager in Tuesday's 1-1 draw at Charlton.
Manchester United are also monitoring the situation and are thought to be prepared to offer £10m for the youngster.
While Arsenal could loan the England Under 21 international back to Southampton after buying him, United could be prepared to get him involved in the first-team squad immediately.
United have money to spend this summer and are reportedly lining up an offer of £5m up-front with another £5m based on appearances.
