Manchester United are chasing Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto for January.El Mundo Deportivo says United boss David Moyes will attempt to sign Roberto from the Spanish giants once the transfer window reopens in the new year.
Roberto has made three appearances so far this season, but his collective game time has amounted to less than 15 minutes.
Tottenham were also interested in signing the Spanish under-21 international on-loan in the summer, but were rebuffed in their attempts.
