Manchester United face competition in their bid for Nottingham Forest prospect Matthew Bondswell.
The Daily Mail says Red Bull Leipzig are looking to beat United to the signing of Bondswell.
United had opened discussions with Forest in a bid to sign the 16-year-old England youth international after Southampton and Liverpool had also shown interest.
However, Leipzig, under the guidance of former Tottenham head of recruitment Paul Mitchell, have been busy trying to recruit some of the UK's best young talent and are now leading the chase.
The Bundesliga has got into the habit of taking young British hopefuls in recent years with Oliver Burke and Ademola Lookman both enjoying stints with RB Leipzig.
