Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof is attracting major transfer interest.
The Sun says former club Benfica, who sold him to Manchester United last summer, are among a host of European sides who have shown an interest in taking him on loan this term.
But United will stand firm and knock back all bids to – because Jose Mourinho sees him playing a bigger role this season.
Lindelof went past Rio Ferdinand as United's costliest defender when they paid £31 million to bring to England on a four-year deal.
Manager Mourinho insisted then that the 23-year-old centre back was a signing for the long-term rather than immediate.
