Manchester United boss David Moyes faces frustration in his pursuit of a new left-back signing in January.

The Daily Mail says United fear their January search for a new left back may prove fruitless, with Everton and Southampton keen to hang on to Leighton Baines and Luke Shaw respectively.

Shaw, 18, is also on Chelsea's radar but Southampton have made it clear they are determined not to sell.
