Man Utd expect Newcastle to up bid for Morrison

Manchester United could sell Ravel Morrison before the winter market shuts.

Newcastle United have had an initial bid for the 18-year-old, who helped the Reds win the FA Youth Cup last season, turned down by Sir Alex Ferguson.

However, they are expected to improve their offer before the end of the transfer window, says the Manchester Evening News.
