Manchester United and Everton are battling for Swindon whizkid Alex Henshall.
The Mirror says Chelsea's transfer embargo will force them to miss out on Swindon wonder-kid Henshall, clearing the way for Premier League rivals Manchester United and Everton.
Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti had lined up a move for England youth winger Henshall, 15, after he impressed in the prestigious Milk Cup tournament in Ireland.
Everton and United are now locked in a two-way battle.
Swindon youth boss Dave Byrne said: "No official bid has come in for Alex.
"The last thing we want is to sell a player who has been here since the age of eight but if he decides to leave that is up to Alex and his parents."
