Manchester United have been encouraged in their bid for AS Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Gazzetta dello Sport says United are lining up an audacious £25m move for Pjanic in the January transfer window.
It is also known that Pjanic turned down proposals to renew his contract which expires at the end of the season.
However, having sold Erik Lamela to Tottenham, Roma were reluctant to offload Pjanic.
