Manchester United are keeping tabs on Ilkay Gundogan's situation at Borussia Dortmund. The midfielder is inside the final 18 months of his current deal and has so far baulked at committing to new terms.
BVB had hoped Gundogan would follow Marco Reus' lead and sign new terms, but so far he's kept his own counsel.
"We want to continue to work with Ilkay and will continue the talks," declared BVB chief Michael Zorc.
BILD says United are interested in Gundogan, who has described the prospect of playing in England as "attractive".
The midfielder is understood to be unhappy being paid only a third of Reus' new salary at Dortmund.
