Manchester United have been encouraged in their pursuit of Dnipro winger Yevhen Konoplyanka.
The Daily Star Sunday says Konoplyanka, 24, was being chased by Liverpool in January but a move fell through on transfer deadline day. Tottenham have also shown an interest in the Ukraine ace.
But now United - under new boss Louis Van Gaal - are poised to swoop and they could get the winger for £12m.
A Dnipro source hinted the Ukraine ace could be on his way and said: "Officially, there's a specific amount for which we don't have the right to not release Konoplyanka.
"If Man United offer favourable conditions and agree terms with Konoplyanka, then no one can do anything."
