Manchester United are ready to offer new terms to captain Nemanja Vidic.
The Manchester Evening News says United manager David Moyes has endorsed a new contract for Vidic, whose current agreement runs out next summer.
The United manager is eager that it should be tied up and movement on it can be expected early in 2014.
The stumbling block could be that United have tended to offer players over 30 just a 12-month deal.
Juventus are reported to be ready to offer Vidic a lucrative deal to lure him to Turin.
