Stoke City star Darren Fletcher has stated that his side fully deserved to claim a draw against Manchester United during the weekend.
City displayed a lot of resilience to claim a fine 2-2 draw against giants Manchester United at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday and following the game, midfielder Fletcher has stated his belief that the Potters were more than good value for the point on the day.
Fletcher said: "It didn't feel as much backs to the wall as Arsenal. I thought we were tactically comfortable. I thought we had great spells in the game and our game plan worked perfectly in terms of how we could exploit positions.
"But as a top side, they are going to have a lot of possession and threat and we could have done a bit better with runs down the sides.
"But overall I thought it was an even match and we went toe-to-toe, a fifty-fifty game that could have gone either way. Probably a draw was a fair result."
