Manchester United have poured cold water over suggestions that they are set to sign Ilkay Gundogan.
The 24-year old midfielder is set to be sold by Borussia Dortmund this summer and it was believed that United would land him for around £20million.
However, club sources have revealed that Gundogan is not on the radar of the Red Devils, dismissing claims that they are on the verge of an agreement.
Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke recently revealed that the Bundesliga outfit would offload Gundogan, who is also a target for Arsenal, but a report in The Express suggests he will not be making his new home at Old Trafford.
