Manchester United have joined the race for Schalke midfielder Leroy Sane.

The Sun says United have joined Liverpool in the race for Sane.

The 19-year-old midfielder has been linked with a January move to Anfield, especially since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp on Merseyside.

However, United are also in the hunt, according to The Sun, and want to beat their fierce rivals to his signature.
