Man Utd delegation in Rome for security talks

A Manchester United party will be in Rome today for security talks over next week's Champions League meeting with Roma.

The Daily Mail says United and Roma played twice in this season's group stages and, although the Old Trafford game passed without incident, four United fans were jailed for their part in clashes at the return game.

There are real fears violence could flare again now that the stakes are much higher.

United secretary Ken Ramsden will meet officials from Roma on Tuesday as well as police and representatives from fan organisations.

United will stress the need for extra security and Ramsden hopes to return in a position to brief the club's fans on where to go and what to do in the Italian capital.
