Manchester United are seeking playing assurances from Blackburn Rovers before sending Michael Keane on-loan to Ewood Park.

Keane has already spent time away from Old Trafford this season, having joined Derby on a short team deal in November.

The Daily Star says Keane looked close to joining the club last week but guaranteed playing time is reportedly the current sticking point stalling the deal.
