Manchester United defender Scott Wootton has ended his loan with Peterborough United.
Wootton started Saturday’s home match against Brighton but was substituted at half-time.
Posh boss Darren Ferguson told the Championship club’s website, theposh.com, “It is a joint decision to be honest. I had a chat with Scott and he felt he wasn't really playing enough games, so I was happy to let him go back to Old Trafford.”
