Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic has been linked with a shock move to Manchester City.
The Daily Mail says club sources dismissed speculation that City boss Mark Hughes will switch his sights from Everton's Joleon Lescott to Nemanja Vidic and try to follow up his capture of former United striker Carlos Tevez with a daring bid in the region of £30m for Sir Alex Ferguson's defensive linchpin. City are clearly not worried about upsetting their neighbours.
Tevez could make his debut when City open their pre-season tour of South Africa against Orlando Pirates in Polokwane today.
