Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah has left the door open to playing for Ghana.

Holland coach Danny Blind called up the teen for last week's friendlies, but the former Ajax junior pulled out citing injury.

"The coach has told me he'll keep following me. I'm eighteen, I expect my chance still to come," Fosu-Mensah told Voetbal International.

"I was pleased with the invitation from Oranje. I know the coach continues to follow me.

"So is Ghana then still an option? You never know."
