Manchester United defender Chris Smalling says he feels happy with his form this season.

Smalling has missed part of the campaign due to illness.

He told manutd.com: "I had a little knock that kept me out for about six weeks in September and October but, otherwise, I've been happy with how things have gone.

"I've been involved in some big games and, when I've not been injured, played more often than not. I just hope I can steer clear of injury now and finish the season strongly."
