Manchester United defender Chris Smalling says all their young players feel good enough to play for England.
Smalling made his debut on Friday for the Three Lions, while Phil Jones and Tom Cleverley are in the squad.
He said: "There is a new breed coming through for England and it's great that players like myself are being given a chance.
"Ferguson has given all the young lads at United their chance by signing them and playing them early.
"We all feel that if you are good enough to play for United then you are good enough for England. Fabio Capello has followed Sir Alex in that respect - and long may it continue."
