Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof and his wife have almost moved into an infamous murder house.

Victor and Maja Nilsson Lindelof are still house-hunting after having to pull out of moving into "the manor nobody wants to buy". An infamous murder occurred in the Cheshire mansion in 2011.

Maja only discovered the home's history by searching online.

"I had nightmares all night. I was close to moving into a murder house," she said on her podcast.

"I do not think you understand how poorly I became."

The couple are still living in Manchester's city centre as they continue to seek a home in the suburbs.
