Manchester United defender Phil Jones was impressed by Victor Valdes for their 0-0 draw at Hull City.

It marked Valdes' full debut for the club.

"He was terrific," Jones said.

"He pulled off some wonderful saves for us and was key at vital moments in the game. They threw a lot at us today and he stood firm and credit to him. He's a great goalkeeper, he speaks very good English and is good at communicating."
