Manchester United defender Phil Jones has spoken of his training ground clash with Wayne Rooney earlier this season.
Jones admits he was shocked at the severity of the cut on Rooney's head after their collision - but insists they joke about it now.
He said: "It was one of those things. It could have happened to anyone. It was a bit clumsy from me but he's alright and it's healed nicely anyway.
"It was a bit of a shock to see all the blood and the first thing I did was go and see him after training.
"But, to be fair, he took it well. He didn't try and knock me out or anything!
"He didn't give me any verbal back - he was too worried about his forehead, to be honest!
"But he was great with it. I apologised to him. We still have a laugh and a joke about it now."
