Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand won't consider England retirement.
The Daily Star says Ferdinand is furious after being repeatedly overlooked by England.
But he has told friends he has no intention of retiring from international football.
A friend said last night: "For sure, Rio will not quit England, although he knows there does not seem to be much chance of him being selected by England right now.
"I spoke with him and nobody from the FA has been in touch to explain why he is being ignored.
"But he will never retire from playing for his country because it means so much to him."
