Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has welcomed the return to Jose Mourinho to Chelsea.

Ferdinand hopes returning Chelsea chief Jose Mourinho will not be back on the trophy trail anytime soon.

He told The Sun: "As a fan it's good to see personalities like Mourinho coming into our league.

"But, hopefully, he can wait till I've retired before he wins anything at all."
