Rio Ferdinand says Manchester United will bounce back from their Champions League defeat.
Ferdinand believes United have the collective spirit to bounce back and use the experience to make them stronger for the future.
The centre-back, who has lost two of three Champions League finals he's played in, insisted United have still had a season to be proud of.
He said: "We will brush ourselves down and come back fighting next year.
"We cannot be too hard on ourselves, looking back over the season.
"We have had a brilliant season in the Premier League. We've won the league, got to another Champions League Final and an FA Cup semi-final. It is not as bad as it feels right now but we will be hurting.
"Okay, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth going into the summer.
"But when we sit back and reflect during the summer and look at ourselves I think we have to say it has not been a bad season."
