Manchester United do not over-rely on Wayne Rooney, insists Rio Ferdinand.
Ferdinand, with 366 games under his belt for United, plus 81 England caps, insists United aren't a one-man team.
"You can't pick out one player as a stand-out as we have so many different players," he said.
"We don't have one best player. More importantly, the whole squad play their part. When players are out injured or suspended, other players come in and do their bit.
"They do what you are meant to do in a Manchester United shirt - and that's perform."
