Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand hopes Paul Scholes plays on next season.
Ferdinand is hoping the 37-year-old keeps going next season, but knows the decision will come down to his colleague alone.
Questioned whether he will try to convince Scholes to continue, the centre back said: "Definitely. It would be nice if he could play another season.
"With Scholesy, though, you know it doesn't make a difference what anybody else says. He's his own man and he'll make his own decision."
