Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand was unimpressed by the antics on show for Arsenal's 0-0 draw with Newcastle United.
Arsenal striker Gervinho was sent off for slapping Joey Barton - after the Toon midfielder hauled him up having appeared to dive inside the area.
Ferdinand tweeted: "Watched NUFC vs AFC+I think a #stayonyourfeet t-shirt needs sending out! The game is better off with no diving,sadly a part of our game now."
The United defender also questioned whether Cesc Fabregas will get a game at Barcelona after he completed his move today from Arsenal.
"So the Fabregas transfer saga is over as he signs for Barca. Good luck to him, top player. I'm interested to see where Barca will fit him in"
