Rio Ferdinand feels Manchester United signing Nick Powell is one for the future.

He is expecting big things of Powell, the 18-year-old who was signed from Crewe this summer, although he admits the fans may need to wait a while before seeing him in a United shirt.

"Nick Powell has done really well [on tour]," said Ferdinand. "He looks a really good player and I think he's going to be a real talent. How much we'll see of him this year is down to the manager but he's got great potential."
