Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is upset with the way he has been treated over the England captaincy issue.
The Daily Mail says Ferdinand will go into peace talks with Fabio Capello believing he has been seriously let down by the England manager and his staff.
The Manchester United defender plans to tell Capello he is hugely disappointed with the Italian for failing to inform him first of his desire to axe him as England captain and reinstate John Terry.
Capello hopes to explain the situation to 32-year-old Ferdinand in Manchester before he attends the Champions League clash between United and Marseille at Old Trafford.
Ferdinand is deeply wounded by Capello's handling of the situation and it has seriously undermined the trust he had in the manager.
He is even bemused by the use of his injury problems as justification for his demotion. This season he has made the same number of England appearances as Terry - just two. In the 24 appearances he has made for United this season, he has not suffered one defeat.
