Rio Ferdinand is confident Manchester United's young players can handle tonight's clash at Otelul Galati.
The match in Bucharest will provide another test of character for some of the Reds' younger players but Ferdinand has no doubts they pass the examination with flying colours.
"You go there [into Europe] with no fear," he asserted. "As a young player you are almost numb to anything. You don't think about it. You are not scarred by what has happened before. You are not thinking about what happened previously. You don't worry. You just play and sometimes it is better.
"It is wrong to single out just one of the young players. They have all done fantastically well in their different positions. That is the beauty. Phil Jones and Chris Smalling have both played central defence and right-back. Danny Welbeck has been wide and centre-forward. We have players with versatility there. They are producing great things. Fingers crossed for the future of this club, it looks good."
