Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand is furious with Manchester City chief Patrick Vieira. Vieira claimed referees give Manchester United preferential treatment.

That came a week after the Manchester City executive suggested bringing back Paul Scholes was desperate.

But United defender Ferdinand took to Twitter and said: "Why is Vieira so concerned with Man Utd....

"2 comments in a week or so....c'mon maaaaaan let it go!"

Vieira has since claimed his comments were taken out of context.
