Man Utd defender Ferdinand accepts England career over

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand admits he's likely to have played his last game for England.

Ferdinand hasn't played under England coach Roy Hodgson.

He told The Sun: "I haven't spoken to the manager since he told me he was leaving me out of the squad for the Euros.

"I watch England as a fan now, and of course I want them to win, but my focus is on United.

"I concentrate on performing well in my next match and driving us on to getting that title back. I feel as though I could play 50 games this season.

"I've three kids who keep me on my toes and keep me young."
