Rio Ferdinand is concentrating on playing for Manchester United and is unconcerned at being overlooked for an England recall by Roy Hodgson. "I'm not sitting there thinking about trying to get back into the England team," the 34 year old told the Manchester Evening News.
"I'm just playing football for Manchester United. That's what I love doing and that is what's at the forefront of my mind."
However, Ferdinand still has no plans to retire from the international fold.
"If that, in time, it ends up in me getting a call-up for England, then great and fantastic. If it doesn't, I won't really lose any sleep over it," he added.
