Manchester United defender Wes Brown says Nemanja Vidic has been excellent as captain this season.
Vidic replaced Gary Neville as skipper earlier this term.
Brown told manutd.com: "Vida is a top man and you can tell he's really enjoying the responsibility that comes with the armband. He's playing well and that's what you need from your captain.
"He sets the example and is maybe the best defender in the world at the moment. He's certainly the best header of a ball I've ever seen. You need someone like Vida in your defence and, alongside Rio, they make the perfect combination."
