Manchester United defender Daley Blind has suffered a social media blunder when promoting the club's third kit.

Blind embarrassed himself with a copy and paste fail in the caption of his latest Instagram post where he is seen modelling the new Manchester United third kit.

It appears Blind directly copied the message sent by his social media manager, including the instruction on what to put in the photo caption.

The 27-year-old’s initial post read: “Hi mate, would you be ok posting this image on your social channels with the following copy?”.

The text was picked up by fans on Twitter before it was quickly deleted, although Manchester United fans have stuck by their Dutch defender after the gaffe.
