Man Utd crock Rojo pushing to make Liverpool clash

Manchester United crock Marco Rojo is pushing to get back in time for their clash with Liverpool.

The Manchester Evening News says Rojo is battling to be fit for Liverpool's visit to Old Trafford next month after scans revealed he's suffering from torn ligaments as a result of his dislocated shoulder.

The Argentinian defender was stretchered off during the 1-0 defeat to Manchester City last week and missed the win over Crystal Palace on Saturday.

It's understood Rojo has also torn his acromioclavicular ligament and is battling to be fit for the clash with Liverpool on December 14.

He looks certain to miss games against Arsenal, Hull, Stoke and Southampton.

And he could yet be ruled out for the visit of Brendan Rodgers' side and the trip to Aston Villa a week later.
