Man Utd could've signed Palace's Zaha for knockdown fee

Manchester United could have signed Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha for a knockdown fee in the summer.

The Manchester Evening News says United could have snapped up Crystal Palace wonder kid Zaha for £5m if they had moved for him in the summer.

They could have picked him up for less than half of his current £12 million valuation if they had moved in the summer.

Palace were ready to listen to offers in the region £5m before Zaha made his England debut this season and established himself as the most exciting talent outside of the Premier League.
