Manchester United are reportedly considering recalling Brighton & Hove Albion loanee James Wilson.

The Daily Express is reporting Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal is contemplating bringing the 20-year-old striker back to Old Trafford in the hope Wilson will be able to remedy United's goal-scoring woes.

Wilson had scored twice in two appearances for the Championship outfit prior to Tuesday night's 2-2 draw with QPR and could find himself back in Manchester red in time for United's Boxing Day clash with Stoke City.

United have scored just 10 goals in their past 12 matches.
