Manchester United are pushing to strike terms with Borussia Dortmund this week for Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
United manager Jose Mourinho is keen to get deals done early this summer, with reports that he is growing frustrated with the club's slow progress in the market.
A £30million bid for Mkhitaryan was said to have been lodged earlier this week - only for Ruhr Nachrichten to claim Dortmund were holding out for £32.6m.
But the Observer today claim the Bundesliga club's spirit is waning and that they are close to accepting United's offer.
